Hinge Track Stairlifts
Stairlifts with hinge tracks are suitable for homes where a doorway is tight to the bottom of the stairs.
A stairlift track would therefore be a tripping hazard. The stairlift itself would also be an obstacle at the bottom of the stairs.

A perch stairlift can offer a unique solution for people who cannot bend their knees. The perch stairlift can also works very well for very narrow stairs. With many of the features of the standard Acorn straight stairlift the Acorn Perch Stairlift includes a grab rail.
Its maximum width is 600mm meaning it can be installed almost anywhere. This perched lift option can be added to the Acorn 120 model to solve the problem of narrow stairs.
